LEARN - On this Link and Learn, we have Nat Mistry the owner of Locamobi Marketing Systems generously giving a presentation on exploring methods to creatively solve problems with unconventional thinking and create awareness of what you can achieve.  Traditional thought is based on " Vertical Thinking" .Lateral Thinking was a skill taught and developed by Dr Edward De Bono, to expand the mind for creativity. He published his book on this subject in 1967.This methodology is still in use by many large corporations today. Edward de Bono is a Maltese born British, now 88, and a world-renowned writer and philosopher who has  written over 80 books on the subject of thinking. He is well decorated  gaining degrees from Malta, Oxford, Cambridge, and also represented many universities like Harvard, and Melbourne, to name but a few.  

What You Will Learn 1. Conventional Problem Solving Approach - The limitations 2. What is Lateral Thinking ? Define its purpose and how you can boost your own creativity 3. Real Life Examples of Lateral Thinking  4. Other related resources and topics to grow your knowledge  

My Background I was a senior systems design engineer at Motorola, in Vancouver where we developed cellular standards and designs for the 3G /4g Cellular networks before it was even in the marketplace.The technique helped me to create features and solutions on the product improvements.I had submitted a defense document for patent protection and also later, a patent application for consideration at Sierra Wireless.
