Co-Owner and Director of Operations

Site B, Twin Sails Brewing, and Brave Brewing Co.

Professional Background & Community Leadership

Erin Scarlett is a community builder, entrepreneur, and co-founder of The Fountainhead Network (TFN), a coworking and media space originally launched in Port Coquitlam, BC in 2019. Alongside her husband and business partner Mike Arboit, and with early encouragement from her mother Roberta Scarlett, Erin left a successful B2B sales career to build something different: an affordable, relationship-driven workspace designed around collaboration, creativity, and real human connection.

TFN opened its doors in early 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down much of the economy. Rather than closing shop, Erin helped pivot the business almost immediately. TFN invested in podcast studios, media production, and virtual programming to support local businesses that suddenly needed digital visibility. During this period, Erin became known as a relentless connector, hosting virtual meetups and facilitating introductions while Mike interviewed more than 100 local businesses through their PoCommunity podcast. To keep the business alive, the couple made difficult personal sacrifices, including selling their home.

That resilience paid off. TFN survived the pandemic, grew a loyal membership base, and earned recognition as a trusted hub for entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners across the Tri-Cities.

By 2022, TFN had grown into a thriving community supporting more than 100 startups and independent professionals, offering coworking, podcasting, media studios, and collaborative programming. Erin has often said that building a culture where members actively support and refer one another is her proudest accomplishment. Local media echoed that impact, noting that TFN provided a safe, productive space for professionals during a time when many were isolated at home.

Erin’s leadership and community impact led to multiple nominations from the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. She was nominated for Community Builder of the Year in 2023 and named a finalist for Young Professional of the Year in 2024. In 2025, The Fountainhead Network was also recognized as a Community Builder Finalist at the Spike Business Awards.

In late 2023, TFN’s original Port Coquitlam location faced rising rent and an uncertain future. Once again, Erin’s network became the solution. A TFN member introduced Erin and Mike to Chris Peacock, founder of Site B, a large community event space and coworking clubhouse in Port Moody. Site B shared TFN’s mission of bringing people together and offered something TFN needed: room to grow.

In early 2024, TFN officially relocated into Site B’s Murray Street location, forming a partnership that blended coworking, events, and community programming under one roof. Erin took on a leadership role at Site B as a co-owner and director of operations, helping shape a shared vision she often describes as a “community ecosystem.” Under her guidance, the space began hosting a wide range of programming, from networking lunches and creative markets to fitness events and live entertainment. The City of Port Moody later granted Site B a multi-year permit extension, citing its success as a community venue.

Erin’s work expanded further through partnerships with Twin Sails Brewing and Brave Brewing, two well-known breweries on Port Moody’s Brewers Row. By 2023, both breweries were navigating the same industry pressures affecting much of craft beer. Instead of competing, the businesses chose collaboration.

In early 2025, Twin Sails Brewing, Brave Brewing, Site B, and The Fountainhead Network formally merged under a shared, community-first collective. Erin played a key leadership role in shaping and executing this four-way merger, which brought together coworking, events, hospitality, and craft beer into a single, integrated ecosystem. Each brand retained its identity, while sharing resources, audiences, and values.

The merger drew attention for its cooperative approach to sustainability and growth. Media coverage highlighted the decision as an example of local businesses choosing partnership over competition. Under the new structure, Erin serves as a co-owner and director across TFN, Site B, Brave Brewing, and Twin Sails Brewing. Together, the collective has launched integrated memberships, co-branded events, and Community Craft, a white-label beer program that allows local businesses and TFN members to collaborate on custom brews.

Alongside her operational work, Erin has been featured in interviews, podcasts, and speaking engagements. She has shared her story through platforms like Collabs.io, appeared on entrepreneurship podcasts discussing coworking, resilience, and mental health, and spoken at events such as the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce TCYP Leadership Workshop and Douglas College’s speaker series. Across these appearances, her message is consistent: community is not a marketing tactic, it’s a business strategy.

Erin remains deeply involved in day-to-day community engagement. She organizes networking events, open houses, workshops, and collaborative programs designed to lower barriers and bring people together. She is widely known for introducing people to one another and helping ideas turn into action. Whether online or in person, her focus is always the same: creating spaces where people feel supported, connected, and capable of building something meaningful.

Across more than a decade of entrepreneurial work, Erin Scarlett has built a reputation as a community catalyst. Her career reflects a consistent belief that businesses thrive when people do, and that collaboration, when taken seriously, can be a powerful engine for resilience, creativity, and local impact.
